The UEFA Referees Committee has announced the referee for Thursday's UEFA Women's Champions League final between Olympique Lyonnais and 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam at Craven Cottage in London (21.00CET kick-off).

The match will be handled by 36-year-old Czech official Dagmar Damková who has been an international referee since 1999 and has officiated in a total of 69 UEFA fixtures in her career. She was in charge five years ago when Potsdam visited 1. FFC Frankfurt in the second leg of the old UEFA Women's Cup final.

Damková also refereed the finals of UEFA Women's EURO 2009 in Helsinki, the 2008 Olympic women's tournament in Beijing, and the 2001 UEFA European Women's Under-18 Championship in Lillestrom. This season, in addition to several qualifiers for the FIFA Women's World Cup – for which she will be a referee in the tournament proper – Damková has taken charge of two UEFA Women's Champions League matches: the round of 16 second leg between FCF Juvisy Essone and ASD Torres Calcio, and the quarter-final first leg featuring Everton and FCR 2011 Duisburg.

An English teacher, Damková referees in the top level of Czech men's football. At the final in London, she will be assisted by compatriots Adriana Šecová and Lucie Ratajová, with the fourth official being another Czech, Jana Adámková.
