EURO qualifying begins on 11 August and UEFA.com looks at the numbers that matter from the 2,267 matches so far – from Hakan Şükür's scoring feat to France's seven-year winning run.

1 Anatoli Ilyin scored the first UEFA European Championship goal four minutes into the Soviet Union's 3-1 first-leg defeat of Hungary in the last 16 in Moscow on 28 September 1958.
2 Number of hat-tricks scored by Northern Ireland striker David Healy as part of his record total of 13 goals in 2008 qualifying.
5 Estonia beat the Faroe Islands 5-0 in Tallinn in the first UEFA EURO 2000 qualifier on 4 June 1998. The nations will meet again in the same city in the opening 2012 preliminary on 11 August.
10 Germany's appearance at UEFA EURO 2008 was their 10th qualification in a row, making the sole three-time champions the first nation to reach double figures.
