After ending their seven-year wait for a 30th Eredivisie title with a dramatic final-day 3-1 defeat of FC Twente, AFC Ajax are now turning their attention to progressing past the UEFA Champions League group stage for the first time since 2005/06, knowing their place in the competition proper is already secure.
Last season, the four-time European champions finished third in their group but a win at AC Milan on Matchday 6 showed their mettle.
